Meet Our Team:
Philip and Daniel Yoder are the skilled craftsmen behind our custom cabinets and furniture. Brother Joe Yoder manages our online presence and assists in crafting your products. Roy Yoder, the patriarch, initially built the shop in 2002 with his eight boys. While semi-retired, Roy still contributes his expertise in sawmilling.
Our Story:
Originally crafting dressers for a furniture factory, the Yoder family shifted focus in 2008, designing beautiful ponderosa pine bedroom sets, dining sets, and custom furniture. Thanks to Roy's dedication and imparted skills, they now create everything from custom cabinets to kitchen sets.
Roles Within the Family:
Philip specializes in custom cabinets, Daniel focuses on custom furniture and aids in cabinet construction, Joe handles online operations, and Roy, semi-retired, continues sawmilling. The youngest son, a schoolteacher, lends a hand in the shop when not teaching.
Y-Knot Furniture's Signature:
Our name, Y-Knot Furniture, signifies the Yoder knot, celebrating the unique knots in our beautiful wood creations. We conduct our sawmilling and source many trees for our pine furniture, offering a diverse range, including knotty alder, rustic hickory, cherry, and more.
